Personal Pronouns and Gender Identification

Personal Pronouns and/or Gender Identification can be designated in My Information on Pirate Port. The personal pronoun can be updated for display on class rosters in Canvas. ECU currently does not display gender identification on any system or documents but may be used for reporting purposes.

Future plans may include having personal pronouns displayed to ECU faculty and staff on other documents to nurture a more inclusive learning environment.
